The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of "Sales Officer | Υπάλληλος Τμήματος Πωλήσεων", for its premises in Athens. The position will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing of the Sales and Marketing Department. The role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave (approximately 18 months).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues. 
  • Communicate with customer cargo operators and inform them of upcoming shipments, meeting their demands, and preparing related documentation (BL, proforma, provisional and final invoices, etc). 
  • Handle invoices and shipping documentation. 
  • Prepare Assay Certificates and execute Assay Exchanges. 
  • Monitor shipments from start to finish. 
  • Oversee Letters of Credit. 
  • Follow up on receivables and Letters of Credit. 
  • Manage reports related to sales and financial reporting and cash projections. 
  • Prepare documentation for auditing and SOX controls. 
  • Create PR/PO's for paying suppliers related to the sales process. 
  • Execute the KYC process for every client annually. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mining, or Metallurgy Engineering. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Sales, or Engineering. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and SAP (ERP). 
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. 
  • Knowledge of Finance, Reporting, Logistics & Export, and Customs Clearance. 
  • Familiarity with International Trade and Shipping procedures. 
  • Ability to learn and understand the metals/concentrate market. 
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation. 
  • Organizational skills and effective time management. 
  • Driver's licence.
