Job Description

As a System Administrator, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and managing the company's IT infrastructure and systems. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and security of IT operations while supporting company growth and innovation.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Network and Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT networks, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Software and Application Management: Manage enterprise software and applications to meet business needs, ensuring their continuous integration and operation.
  • Cybersecurity: Implement and manage security measures to safeguard company data and systems, including firewalls, encryption, and threat detection systems.
  • User Support (Help Desk): Provide support to employees by overseeing a responsive help desk team to resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Data Management and Backup: Ensure the protection and integrity of company data by implementing and managing reliable backup, recovery, and archiving solutions.
  • IT Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT policies in line with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Handle IT procurement, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible solutions and services.
  • Automation and Innovation: Drive automation initiatives to optimize IT processes and support digital transformation within the organization.
Requirements

We would like you to have:

  • Proven experience in managing IT operations, networks, and systems for medium to large-scale enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure management (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers).
  • Expertise in cybersecurity practices, including risk assessment, incident response, and compliance with security standards.
  • Proficiency in managing enterprise software and applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data management and backup solutions, ensuring secure data handling and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies considered as a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.

We would appreciate:

  • BSc/MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with  Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT to bring innovation to the organization.
