Job Description
  • Job Title: Reporting Officer
  • Report to: Reporting Manager
  • Job Summary: The Reporting Officer will support the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements. This role contributes to the integrity of financial information through close collaboration with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills, ideally with experience in public company reporting.
Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
  • Contribute to the preparation of management reports for internal stakeholders
  • Support the financial closing process, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate
  • Assist in the implementation, documentation, and monitoring of internal control procedures
  • Prepare documentation and responses to auditor requests during audits and reviews
  • Provide support for regulatory filings for US – listed companies
  • Perform accounting and finance related tasks as required

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Big Four auditing firm, with preferred exposure to public company audits or equivalent experience in a financial reporting role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting/ERP systems is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of professional integrity, accountability, and sound ethical judgement
  • Effective communication skills, with a proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English and Greek (written and verbal)
  • German language skills are considered an advantage
