Junior IT Administrator

• Job Title: Junior IT Administrator
• Reports to:  IT Officer
• Location: Athens – GR

Job Summary: Involves monitoring and managing IT assets, ensuring all equipment is up-to-date and functioning correctly. Also responsible for the onboarding and offboarding processes, setting up systems for new employees and revoking access when necessary. Maintain IT documentation, manage user accounts, and may conduct internal IT trainings. This role is crucial in ensuring that the IT systems are secure, efficient, and supportive of the organization's overall goals.

• Handling employee onboardings and offboarding
• Assist end-users with day-to-day technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions
• Set up new user accounts, configure access permissions, and manage user profiles as per department's procedures
• Providing first level IT support to employees
• Managing IT inventory and assets
• Maintaining IT documentation and user management in systems/tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience of at least 2 years in a similar role. Exposure to the Shipping industry will be considered an asset
• Proven experience as a Junior IT Administrator or similar role
• Working knowledge of English language
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, self-driven, organized, proactive
• Able to translate business needs into technical specifications
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Cloud platforms
