Omilia is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Operations Analyst to manage and continuously improve our end-to-end billing processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment. As part of our Revenue Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing across SaaS, software subscriptions, and services. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Product, and CSM teams, while contributing to the optimization of our billing infrastructure and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full billing cycle, including invoice generation, contract validation, revenue recognition, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure billing aligns with contract terms, schedules, and revenue policies (e.g., subscription, consumption-based, and project-based models).
  • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Sales Operations to meet monthly close deadlines and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Perform billing QA checks, data audits, and root cause analysis to drive long-term improvements.
  • Maintain and enhance billing platforms and systems (e.g., Salesforce Revenue Cloud, NetSuite), including automation and integration initiatives.
  • Prepare usage reports, monthly billing forecasts, and customer-facing reports to support transparency and accuracy.
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support audit requests, partner reporting, and customer inquiries related to invoicing.
  • Contribute to documentation, policy enforcement, and ongoing optimization of the Quote-to-Cash process.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or finance in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex billing operations in recurring and subscription-based revenue models.
  • Strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including order management, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or ERP systems like NetSuite a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret customer contracts and billing schedules accurately.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
