At SHOPFLIX, we prioritize customer experience and innovation in our e-commerce platform. As a Product Owner, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between business objectives and user needs. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring that we deliver outstanding value to our customers. Your expertise in understanding market trends and customer feedback will play a crucial role in shaping our product direction.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to the team and stakeholders.
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business objectives and customer needs, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with development, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and uncover user needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer support, etc.) and the software development team to ensure alignment on product goals and vision.
  • Facilitate sprint planning and review meetings to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor product performance and iterate based on customer feedback and analytics.
  • Stay up to date with trends in product information management, e-commerce, and the commercial industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a shared vision and rally teams around it.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or a similar role in a software development environment, preferably with a focus on retail systems or data management.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies and product backlog management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, and understand software development processes and lifecycles.
