
Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be the first point of contact for many of our future customers. You'll play a key role in driving our sales pipeline by identifying and developing qualified leads, initiating conversations with key decision-makers, and booking meetings for our Account Executives. The role will work as part of multinational team at our Athens operations center supporting our field organization in key European markets. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of outbound sales experience, a keen interest in the cybersecurity space, and desire to develop his/her sales skills further.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to engage CISOs, security leaders, and IT decision-makers.
- Qualify leads from our marketing activities and set up discovery calls or demos for senior sales reps.
- Research target accounts to understand their security posture and identify potential gaps where our MDR/XDR services can add value.
- Work with and support our reseller partners in campaigns to promote our offering to their install base.
- Communicate the importance of modern threat detection and response in a compelling and credible way.
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize messaging and campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate prospecting activity in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and competitive offerings.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of outbound B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in IT or cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and objection handling.
- Excellent communication skills — confident, clear, and professional over phone and email.
- Comfortable reaching out to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Native language skills either for English, German or Dutch; professional knowledge of other European languages a benefit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling cybersecurity solutions, MSSP, MDR/XDR, SIEM, or SOC services.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Knowledge of common security tools and concepts (EDR, SIEM, threat intelligence, etc.).
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH) are a plus but not required.
