
Senior Event Sales Professional

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Sales Manager, MICE. This role is crucial in driving revenue and elevating our hotel's reputation in the event management sector by leading sales initiatives for corporate groups from international markets.
Responsibilities- Developing Annual Strategy for Key Markets: Create detailed annual strategies for dedicated markets, including sales activations, revenue targets, and action plans.
- Market Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze segment performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve budget goals and maximize profitability.
- Action Plan Implementation: Effectively implement the action plan, ensuring seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Sales Initiatives: Organize and participate in site inspections, customer events, trade shows, and sales missions to maintain, build, or develop key relationships.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact on-site for trade partners, fostering strong relationships.
- Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about market developments and adjust the action plan accordingly.
- MICE Inquiries: Respond to incoming MICE inquiries by preparing tailored proposals, creating blocks in Opera, and following up on progress of leads.
- Negotiations and Contract Preparation: Negotiate pricing, venues, and terms and conditions of contracts, then prepare accurate contracts and ensure blocks in the system are correct.
- Event Handover: Confirm and hand over executed events, along with relevant details, to the events team.
- Minimum of Two Years in Hotel Sales: Possess at least two years of experience in hotel sales within a luxury hotel brand, specifically in the MICE segment.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business, Psychology, Tourism, or other related fields such as Law, Communication.
- Language Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with Greek being an added asset.
- Group Sales Experience: Have experience in group sales within a hotel setting.
- Computer Skills: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Opera PMS.
- Time Management and Multitasking: Exhibit strong multitasking, time-management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stress Handling: Display the ability to handle difficult situations and work effectively under pressure.
- Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel, potentially to different locations and time zones.
