As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in driving team performance and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and productivity targets.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Assist in the onboarding and continuous training of housekeeping staff, promoting a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
  • Oversee room assignments and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary to maintain stock availability.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Conduct daily briefings and team huddles to align priorities and operational updates.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.
  • Oversee VIP room preparations and turndown services with elevated attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in luxury hotel housekeeping operations.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and maintenance techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to housekeeping procedures.
  • Fluency in English.
