Linen and Laundry Operations Manager

As a key member of the housekeeping team, you will oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional linen and laundry services at our luxury hotel. Your expertise in managing linen processing, inventory control, and staff training will be essential in upholding high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage linen and laundry services efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality control.
- Oversee all stages of linen processing, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate timely reordering.
- Train and supervise laundry staff to ensure compliance with hotel procedures and brand standards.
- Regularly inspect laundered items and report damages or replacement needs.
- Enforce strict hygiene, health, and safety regulations in the laundry area.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to support efficient room turnovers and linen availability.
- Monitor and maintain laundry equipment in coordination with the engineering department.
- Liaise with vendors and external laundry services as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end laundry service.
- Strong understanding of linen and laundry operations, including washing techniques and materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Leadership and training abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to laundry operations.
