Job Description

The Laundry Steward role involves managing inventory and maintenance of staff uniforms, linen, and terry cloth items. This includes preparing and organizing soiled items for collection from each department, ensuring all linen and uniforms are clean, serviceable, and properly stored according to established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming goods, identifying and reporting any damages or discrepancies.">
  • Ensure the receiving area is secure and that all procedures comply with health and safety regulations.">
  • Adhere to guidelines for counting items to ensure inventory accuracy.">
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure timely delivery of laundry items, maintaining a smooth 'dirty for clean' exchange process.">

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has proven experience in a similar position within a hotel or resort environment, strong communication skills in Greek, and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
