Sol Hellas S.A., a leading manufacturer and distributor of technical and medical gases, is seeking an Applications and Sales Engineer to join its Athens territory team.

The company's facilities are based in Maroussi, and it is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its team as an Applications and Sales Engineer.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative industrial and technical solutions across dynamic industries such as Food & Beverage, Materials & Construction, and Oil & Energy. This will involve executing strategic deals that make a real difference for clients and the company, understanding and matching customer requirements with innovative and effective offerings.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Identifying new opportunities and developing new markets
- Promoting innovative technical solutions associated with gases
- Working closely with sales, technical, and engineering teams to develop and implement new solutions and ensure timely and quality delivery of technical projects
- Managing major accounts - clients and delivering services to maintain high client satisfaction
- Building and developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Leading contract negotiations, finalizing agreements, and securing winning deals
- Creating, developing, and implementing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Driving revenue growth and improving profitability
- Conducting business analysis and presenting recommendations to senior management
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, with an MBA considered a plus. At least 2-3 years of experience in relevant positions, preferably in an industrial or technical environment, is required. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, are essential.
