Production Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our Long Acting Injectables (LAI) Production team at our Sapes premises.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a relevant position within the pharmaceutical industry and possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities. They will also have a good understanding of Good Documentation practices as per EU regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the production process and ensure quality, safety, productivity, and house–keeping of the production area.
  • Coordinate processes performed by production workers and monitor workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Take initiatives or participate in actions aimed at improving productivity and reducing production costs.
  • Propose corrective and improvement actions related to production processes and HSE.
  • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
  • Follow and control the implementation of written procedures and instructions cGMP's ensuring the quality of the product.
  • Contribute to the preparation of manufacturing documents (batch manufacturing records), investigations.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Competent in English and PC (MS office & ERP).
  • Ability to work on shifts and/or weekends.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines.
