Job Description:

Billing and Metering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Billing and Metering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing utility-related issues, including meter readings, energy invoices, and billing-related reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute regular and ad hoc customer billing printing and delivery, perform sample checks on the correctness of issued invoices, and maintain records of checked and confirmed printed bills.
  • Participate in the Billing Cycles Management process by updating the billing system with necessary commissioning specifications.
  • Handle meter readings and metering corrections processes for electricity and natural gas, and perform validations before uploading into company systems.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues related to measurements and charges-related disputes.
  • Perform and control the process of reimbursement of municipal fees in respective municipalities and compile reports for involved parties.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting for customers to support sales functions and provide customized reports to large customers.
  • Perform UAT checks in new system development and communicate issues to IT teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced software skills, including MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
