Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tester to join our agile, software product development team. As a Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the implementation and distribution of Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics.
  • Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that guarantee exceptional product quality.
  • Analyze, design, plan, and execute strategies for unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing across all software lifecycle phases.
  • Develop automation test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Perform automation test execution; mentor, direct, and monitor other testers in automation principles.
  • Partner with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation, and implementation of automated testing methodologies.
  • Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
  • Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicate with key stakeholders regularly.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in the ICT sector; experience in designing, planning, and executing software testing strategies is beneficial.
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle processes for enterprise-scale projects using Agile methodologies or Test-Driven Development and continuous integration.
  • Hands-on experience with issue & project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack).
  • Working experience with Automation Testing tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla).
  • Knowledge of Java and/or .NET.
  • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent certification) is desirable.
