Quality Assurance and Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of our quality management system, collaborating with project personnel, and performing inspection and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective implementation of our Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with project construction personnel for the preparation and updating of Inspection & Test Plans.
- Perform regular inspection and testing activities.
- Monitor testing performed by third parties in cooperation with competent construction personnel.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Department for the issuance of Work Method Statements.
- Inform the Project Director in case of nonconformity and ensure that all corrective actions defined by the Project Director are implemented.
- Ensure that materials control systems, such as submission for approval, receipt, storage, preservation, traceability, and recording, are performed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan/System.
- Participate in training of project personnel on quality issues.
- Perform quality audits at regular intervals to assess the implementation of the Project Quality Plan/System.
- Prepare monthly reports for the performance status of Project Quality activities and relevant issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our Quality Management System and Project Quality Program through review of performance and performance indicators.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of working experience as a Quality Engineer in the construction sector.
- Experience working on sophisticated construction projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent command of English language (both oral and written).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.
