About the RoleThis position involves conducting thorough investigations and assessments into potential financial crimes, including fraud and money laundering activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Conducting rigorous investigations and assessments into potential financial crimes, including fraud and money laundering activities.
- Reviewing and analyzing customer transactions for risk and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement effective strategies to prevent financial crime.
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation concerning investigations and findings.
- Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to financial crime prevention.
- Providing training and support to staff on anti-financial crime policies and procedures.
- Working closely with law enforcement and regulatory agencies as required.
- Fluency in German (both spoken and written) is required.
- Prior experience in anti-financial crime, compliance, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to relocate to Athens, Greece, with relocation support provided.
