Headwaiter - Avali

We are seeking a highly skilled Headwaiter to join our team at the Avali hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a proven track record in managing high-pressure situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive outstanding service, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, reporting any issues or concerns
  • Make decisions that affect work and customer experience, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing ideas and expertise
  • Have full knowledge of products, confidently describing them to customers
  • Take orders accurately, asking relevant questions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete side duties and cleaning schedules, adhering to daily checklists
Requirements

  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Organized and efficient, with strong time management skills
  • Good sales skills, able to upsell and promote products
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience:
  • Professional experience in a 5-star hotel or restaurant environment
  • Previous experience working with POS systems
  • Excellent command of English, with additional languages an asset
  • Good knowledge of food, wines, and spirits
