Technical Support Specialist

As a key member of our team, your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and resolving production issues within designated timeframes.

When the root cause of an incident remains unidentified, you'll initiate a 'problem' report promptly. You'll conduct advanced troubleshooting for production incidents and problems, taking ownership of problem monitoring and tracking with a focus on process improvement.

You'll reproduce incidents and validate fixes through regression testing. Additionally, you'll contribute to root cause analysis efforts to prevent future outages or quality issues.

Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience in Application Support, System Administration, SW-QA, or DEVOPS.
  • Have solid system administration skills, particularly in Linux environments (Windows experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with Oracle or Mongo DB.
  • Bonus points for experience in automation testing and scripting languages.
  • Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, and NewRelic.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
