Role Summary:

We are looking for a Football Coach to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and adolescents, promoting inclusion, fair play, and dialogue.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deal with behavioural issues.

As a Football Coach, you will be responsible for facilitating football trainings, mediating during matches, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.

  • Prepare and lead football trainings based on inclusive methodologies
  • Mediate during matches and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
  • Use alternative teaching methods to support diverse learning needs
  • Give input about training materials
  • Apply effective group management and conflict resolution strategies
  • Track and report on KPIs, participation, and session outcomes
  • Engage with parents/guardians and update them on progress
  • Support community events and educational projects
  • Travel to tournaments or events as required
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes
  • Implement trainings for sports professionals and educators on methodologies that promote inclusion
  • Ensure that the implementation of activities is aligned with our accountability principles
  • Work effectively in cross-functional projects to identify and implement milestone actions where necessary
  • Support other organization's priority activities, when necessary
Requirements
  • Physical Education & Sport Science Degree or UEFA C Diploma
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or teenagers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deal with children's behavioural issues and conflict resolution knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Very good understanding of human rights, global poverty & development issues
