Software Support Engineer

AMCO SA, is looking for a dynamic and skilled Public Sector Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contribute to the development and promotion of innovative IT and technology products and services, in Greek Public Sector.

Business Activities:

· Cloud-based Ticketing Systems

· Smart Cities Solutions

· Passenger Information Systems

· Automated Payment Systems and self-service kiosks

· On-street and Off-street smart parking system

Responsibilities:

· Customer support remotely and onsite

· Understanding of customer's business needs

· First setup of customers environment and troubleshooting

· Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, networks, and applications.

· Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Identify and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner.

· Assist with system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.

· Work with development and operations teams to implement process improvements.

· Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

· Support incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.

· Stand by support

Required skills:

· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent

· Excellent communication skills

· Familiarity with the Linux OS.

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

·
Understanding of web technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTPS/SSL, SMTP, DNS etc. -

· Experience with SQL databases

· Written and verbal communication skills in English

· Ability to travel abroad

·
Fulfilled military obligations

Desired skills:

· Experience with Git.

· Experience working within Agile/SCRUM teams.

· Basic software programming capabilities

· Ability to prioritise your workload and apply good time management skills
