Payroll Assistant

Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Assistant to join our Payroll team. The ideal candidate will support the payroll department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow their career and knowledge in Payroll, enjoys working with numbers, and values confidentiality and precision.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
  • Electronic submission of forms to public organizations (ERGANI etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to payroll, benefits, and attendance
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees with professionalism
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting team on reporting and audits
  • Support in ad hoc payroll projects and process improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Previous experience in payroll administration (1-2 years)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel in particular)
  • Good knowledge of payroll software
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
