Chemical Engineer or Chemist / Full-time (On site)

Machinor S.A. implements electromechanical projects of high technical and quality standards, fully covering the needs of a wide range of customers. This is ensured by a fully qualified and motivated team, who have leading expertise, using the most modern technical means of cutting-edge technologies. Specifically, we deal with:

  • The design, configuration, programming and commissioning of automation systems, using PLCs, HMI and SCADA
  • Study and supply of automation, low and medium voltage panels
  • Selection and supply of measuring instruments
  • Design and supply of water and wastewater treatment systems

We are currently looking for an eager, highly motivated and skilled Chemical engineer or Chemist
, based in Athens,
to join our
Technical
Sales team.

Objectives of this Role

  • Manage and communicate effectively with clients
  • Promote company's services and solutions
  • Research and design of water and wastewater monitoring and/or treatment systems
  • Dealing with troubleshooting, with a problem-solving attitude both remotely and on-site
  • Communication with suppliers and request/prepare suitable quotations
  • Order and supply water/wastewater treatment and monitoring systems
  • Build professional skills through continual training, education, and networking

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Professional Engineer certification (TEE; if applicable)
  • Strong working and speaking fluency in English and Greek
  • Driving license and ability to travel
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Fulfilled military services (if applicable)
  • Previous work experience on water/wastewater chemical analyses or analyzers will be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages (preferred)
