As a Senior Operations Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of coordinating multiple projects within the operations landscape. This role combines strategic business acumen with data analytics proficiency, requiring a solid understanding of business and technical aspects. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager you will play a crucial role in optimizing operations and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Operations Analytics:

• Translate business needs into actionable, data-driven solutions that enhance operational decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into key operational, tactical and strategic KPIs on Operations.
• Leverage data to track performance, highlight risks, and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
• Partner with operations leaders to guide decisions through insights, ensuring recommendations are grounded in accurate data.
• Collect and organize feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve dashboards and streamline performance tracking processes.

Reporting & Insight Delivery:

• Analyze and interpret operational performance data, identifying key trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities across the end-to-end Operations lifecycle (supply, fulfillment, quality, and cost).
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide management decisions and enable proactive interventions at both strategic and operational levels.
• Develop automated and scalable reporting solutions in Power BI that reduce manual effort and ensure every team, has access to consistent, up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data narratives that connect metrics to real-world performance outcomes, empowering non-technical audiences to act confidently on insights.
• Conduct root-cause and variance analyses when performance deviates from forecasts or targets, providing clear explanations and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with the central Analytics team to improve data availability and dashboard performance, ensuring reliability and scalability as data volumes grow.
• Establish reporting best practices (documentation, version control, data validation) to foster consistency and trust in analytics outputs across the organization.

Data Governance & Quality:

• Ensure consistency and accuracy of key operational KPIs by adhering to company-wide data definitions and governance standards.
• Collaborate with the central Analytics team to validate data sources, transformations, and metric logic, ensuring a single source of truth across all dashboards.
• Perform data quality checks and reconciliation to detect and resolve discrepancies between different reporting layers (Power BI, BigQuery, and source systems).
• Contribute to the KPI documentation and data glossary, maintaining clarity around metric definitions, owners, and calculation methods.
• Champion a culture of data ownership and accountability within the Operations function by promoting best practices in documentation, validation, and change management.
• Provide feedback on data model and semantic layer improvements, ensuring the operational reporting layer remains efficient, well-structured, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Stakeholder Co-ordination:

• Coordinate analytical projects within the Operations department, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Manage timelines, communicate progress, and ensure analytical outputs translate into concrete business impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, and Finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across operations metrics.
• Ensure alignment with company goals and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Operations analytics, Business analytics, Consulting, or Finance, ideally within a fast-paced, data-driven organization.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative fundamentals and the ability to adapt work to different platforms and tools.
  • Strong command of SQL
  • Experience with at least one BI Platform - PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Solid experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets for quick analysis and model building
• Insight Generation:
  • Translates complex data into clear, actionable business insights that guide operational and strategic decisions.
  • Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations that directly influence business performance.
