Graduate in Electrical & Computer Science Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or

Computer Science and Communications Engineering

Mandatory qualifications:

  1. Official Degree (officially proven) in any field among: a/ Electrical & Computer Science

Engineering, b/ Computer Science Engineering c/ Computer Science and

Communications Engineering, issued by a greek higher education institution or officially

certified equivalent international degree (BSc, MSc).

  1. At least one year (officially proven) work experience on deployment and management

of RHEL (or open-source equivalent: Alma Linux, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Oracle Linux)

operating systems, open source web servers Apache and/or NGINX, open source mail

servers. Work experience in this field must be certified as described.

  1. Very good use of the English language (officially proven).

All the above must be proven as described in the official announcement document (in

Desired (not mandatory) qualifications:

Proven Extended Knowledge/Experience in: Management and Security of Linux Operating

Systems, Management and Security of Web Servers, Management of Hypervisors,

Cybersecurity, DevOps, DevSecOps in production on a public or private sector organization.

Duties: Management, maintenance, installation, security of IT systems operated by the National

Observatory of Athens.

Qualities: Responsibility, ability to collaborate, initiative, meeting deadlines.

Duration of employment: Initial 2 month contract to be extended without a specified

termination date.

Location: NOA premises at P. Penteli, Attiki, Athens Metropolitan Area, Greece
