attica department stores is currently in search of a dynamic and experienced Sell-out & Training Manager to join our Wholesale - Cosmetics Department for our central offices in Athens.

Role Purpose:
The job holder will be reporting to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for performing hardware troubleshooting (Cash Registers, Computers, Printers etc). Also, he/she will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults within these systems and for solving the issues either in person or remotely.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide first-level technical support by troubleshooting hardware issues and serving as a Help Desk agent, responding to user queries and guiding them toward effective solutions or escalating to the appropriate support level when necessary.
  • Conduct daily on-site monitoring of store systems including cash registers, access control, anti-theft systems, CCTV, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure such as Wi-Fi networks, Cisco Call Manager systems, portable communication devices, wireless POS terminals, and RF scanners.
  • Communicate with external service providers in case of system malfunctions or failures to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain the performance and stability of the local area network (LAN) and workstations across the store network.
  • Identify and propose improvements to technical processes and support procedures.

Skills/Experience Required

  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or other relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
  • Excellent MS-Windows, MS-Office skills.
  • Knowledge of Linux will be considered a plus.
  • Wide knowledge of LAN.
  • Good understanding of a wide variety of computer systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and oral).
  • Customer-oriented personality with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
