Let's start with the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Legal Counsel
to join our in-house team. In this key role you will provide legal support across the organization, drafting and negotiating agreements guiding complex transactions, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, enabling the business to grow responsibly and efficiently while also enhancing internal legal frameworks and processes.

As a Legal Counsel, you will:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (e.g., B2B, SaaS, NDAs, partnership contracts);
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, HR, Technology;
• Lead and manage complex commercial transactions, ensuring legal support aligns with the company's strategics and business goals;
• Manage corporate documentation (charter, articles of association, bylaws etc.);
• Oversee corporate governance frameworks, including drafting and reviewing of policies and board resolutions;
• Develop and refine legal templates, playbooks, forms, and policies to streamline deal processes and standardize terms;
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with legislative and regulatory developments impacting the company's operations.

What you'll bring:

• A law degree formally recognized in Greece;
• A Master's degree in Law, ideally with focus on commercial law, corporate law, international trade/transactions law, or contract law;
• Active license to practice law in Greece and membership in the Athens Bar Association or another recognized Bar Association in Greece;
• Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally gained in a leading law firm or in-house legal department;
• Proven experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, corporate governance;
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills;
• Experience in the technology sector;familiarity with regulations on new technologies, intellectual property law;
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
• Tech-savvy, with comfort in using technology, including AI applications to improve effectively;
• Highly organized, proactive and able to manage simultaneous projects, prioritize and meet business objectives;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams as well as independently;
• Hands-on, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to take full ownership of workload and effectively manage deadlines;
• Familiarity with the use of tools for day-to-day tasks.
