MAKRIS Athens by Domes

Domes Resorts lands in Athens, introducing our first degustation restaurant in Thissio. Our talented, Michelin Starred Chef Patron Petros Dimas, alongside with a team of culinary experts will create the ultimate fine dining experience based on Greek creative cuisine.

We are currently hiring for Athens, looking for a highly energetic and passionate Reservations Agent & Hostess, joining our team at MAKRIS Athens by Domes.

Reservations Agent & Hostess

The Role:

As a Reservations Agent at MAKRIS Athens, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handling reservations via telephone and email with efficiency, professionalism, and a focus on delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for coordinating bookings, managing event requests, and ensuring a seamless communication process between the guests and our operational team. You will also play a key role in maximizing our restaurant's revenue by carefully handling inquiries and guiding guests to the best available options.

Some of the responsibilities:

• Handle all reservation-related inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Manage reservation schedules and optimize table assignments to maximize seating capacity and revenue.
• Process event requests efficiently and direct them to the appropriate operational team, ensuring no potential revenue is lost.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring accurate data entry for reservations and event inquiries.
• Provide a personalized experience to guests, responding to special requests or specific dining needs.
• Be a positive and professional representative of MAKRIS Athens and Domes Resorts at all times.
• Assist in administrative tasks related to reservations and event coordination as needed.

Requirements

Useful to have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within fine dining establishments or luxury hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems (i-host, 7 rooms) and proficiency in handling telephone and email communications professionally.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Experience handling event inquiries and coordinating with operational teams.
