City Unity College is seeking passionate and experienced instructors to join our dynamic Computer Science Department

About the Positions

We are excited to announce multiple openings for instructors across various Computer Science disciplines. These positions will contribute to our academic community, delivering high-quality instruction in both Greek-taught and English-taught programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Job Description

  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops for undergraduate and/or graduate students.
  • Create and maintain effective course materials, ensuring alignment with program learning objectives.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to promote student engagement and critical thinking.
  • Assess student learning through diverse evaluation methods.
  • Advise and mentor students, supporting their academic and professional development.
  • Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field (highly preferred but not mandatory).
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a relevant field, or in the Natural/Physical Sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Tertiary Education Computer Science courses (preferred).
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with online or blended learning environments (highly preferred).
  • Proven record of scholarship or relevant industry experience (preferred).
