Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Java Software Engineer located in Athens. The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications as well as work as team leader. Day-to-day tasks include back-end development, programming, and implementing object-oriented programming principles. The role also involves conducting code reviews, collaborating with other team members, and ensuring high-quality software solutions are delivered.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Computer Science and Programming skills
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development (JEE, Quarkus, REST APIs)
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Ability to conduct efficient code reviews and collaborate effectively in a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role, at least 8 years
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
