Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. is looking for a Marine Engineer or Naval Architect holding a University Degree for the position of Fleet Manager. Candidates must have a minimum of seven years' experience in the same position. Fluency in English and computer literacy is a prerequisite. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical management of a group of 6-8 Bulker/Reefer vessels. Travel will be required.

Key tasks:

  • Maintenance of all equipment on engine and deck
  • PMS running hours follow up
  • Preparation and attendance for Class surveys, PSC surveys
  • Attendance in order to keep up with the vessels general condition and performance
  • Dry docks attendance for engine and deck repairs
  • Engine and Hull repairs by crew or workshops
  • LSA and FFA follow up
  • Lubricants consumption and replenishment
  • Fuels analysis and consumption monitoring
