Drydock Manager

ALPHA BULKERS, a leading shipmanagement company, seeks an experienced Drydock Manager to join our Technical Department and oversee the planning, coordination and execution of vessels drydocking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all aspects of drydock operations for the company's fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with shipyards, superintendents, class societies, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare drydock specifications, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with the technical team.
• Supervise onsite drydock activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in vessel drydocking
• 8-10 years of experience in the technical department of a shipmanagement company as technical superintendent or Fleet Manager
• Proven project management skills with strong attention to detail and budgeting.
• Solid knowledge of class and flag requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to spend a period of 9 months (in 2025 and 2026) in Far East

Upon completion of the drydock program, the Drydock Manager will transition into a permanent role in our technical department.
