The Role

We are looking for a passionate Insights Executive to join our team providing support to business performance projects through analyses and initiatives for the delivery of optimal / efficient performance across Imperial. This is a technical role requiring the ability to work autonomously within established procedures and practices using advanced skills / expertise. The ideal Insights Executive will join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Conducts analysis of sales and consumer data to identify trends and insights.
  • Monitors insights tools to assist in executing robust business recommendation and ideas.
  • Coordinates partnerships with stakeholders, proactively engaging and liaising with functional teams on analytics to deliver impactful data-driven insights and intelligence.
  • Supports business / operational efficiency through gathering research / insights needs from key stakeholders and prioritising investigation focus with consideration of business urgency, importance and resources.
  • Provides technical/operational skill in utilising analytics and segmentation tools to translate business internal needs to research and / or insights requirements.
  • Complies with the function's safety and ethics rules and processes, and models Imperial's Values & Behaviours.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with focus on Business Administration, Statistics or Marketing Analytics
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral) and MS Office Skills, primarily Advanced Excel – [pivot tables, formulas] and PowerPoint
  • Professional experience of commercial and consumer analysis preferably in the FMCG will be a plus
  • Analytical, numerical and commercial reasoning
  • Excellent communication skills, willingness to take ownership and deliver on responsibilities with self-organized approach
