Mellon Technologies seeks to hire a Technical Team Lead / Software Development Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Technical Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of software developers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery and team performance.

Τhe Ideal Candidate will

  • Lead and manage a team of software developers, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support during the design, development, and implementation phases
  • Facilitate code reviews, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Monitor and report on team performance, progress, and risks
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with 4-5 years in a team leadership or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, React)
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Banking / Fintech
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
  • Certifications in project management or Agile (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
