We are currently seeking on behalf of our client, an experienced Mechanical Engineer Designer with proficiency in SOLIDWORKS. As a Mechanical Engineer Designer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of mechanical systems and components utilizing SOLIDWORKS software. Your expertise will be essential in creating innovative solutions and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

One of the leading companies in Process Systems. With more than 20 years of experience the client has developed an expertise that combines engineering, 3D design, top quality manufacturing and complete process control software integration.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using SOLIDWORKS software.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation to ensure the functionality and reliability of designs.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and production purposes.
  • Perform simulations and tests to validate designs and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and components for production.
  • Support the manufacturing and assembly processes by providing technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software.
  • Experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
