We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team

JEPA is a well established Engineering consultancy firm based in Athens, Greece, which is undertaking challenging projects worldwide. JEPA is currently seeking a dynamic professional to cover the following position:

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description


•Prepares updates and checks detailed calculations for
HVAC engineering systems


•Prepares AutoCAD/Revit drawings using company design and CAD standards


•Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers (reviewing vendor documents)


•Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget for his design area


•Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering activities to the group leader.


•Meets quality objectives of the project


•Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support


•Communicates with clients and other team disciplines (Architects, Structural engineers, Lighting designers, LEED consultants etc.)


•Reviews and understands other discipline drawings (architectural, structural, landscape etc.)

Candidate Profile

Must have:


•Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma


•5+ years of experience in MEP design


•Problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills


•Design / Drafting software experience (AUTOCAD etc.)


•Knowledge of general software (MS Office, Outlook etc.)


•Knowledge of local standards, codes, and rules & regulations


•Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities


•Fluent in English (written and spoken)


•Fluent in Greek (written and spoken)

Nice to have:


•Field Engineering experience.


•BIM knowledge
