A leading gambling company in Greece is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Store Design & Development Team, providing engineering support for the retail network as well as contributing to a wide range of development projects.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Review functional parameters for electro-mechanical studies and compliance requirements (e.g. Fire Brigade regulations) of proposed architectural concepts.
  • Analyze and assess electro-mechanical design plans to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Propose, design, and implement innovative solutions for retail or similar environments.
  • Prepare and monitor technical specifications in line with Greek legislation regarding building design and development.
  • Provide design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Liaise with governmental authorities and assist with the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate for the position of MEP Design Engineer:

  • BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, MSc in related field will be preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in designing and implementing MEP and digitalization solutions for retail or similar environments.
  • Solid knowledge of electro-mechanical installations design. Familiarity with Fire Brigade regulations and legal framework is essential.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and supervising MEP contractors and suppliers, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and electromechanical software
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel; valid driving license (category B).
