Responsibilities

Key accountabilities:

• Acts as an integral part of the multidisciplinary teams (Customer Engagement Teams/CETs or Cluster Product Communities) and contributes to the execution of the brand strategy helping guide the TAs strategic direction, under the coaching of CMD and in full alignment with CETs.
• Plans, develops, and engages with TLs as a scientific expert in respective TAs both proactively (on-label) and reactively (off-label) via various innovative TLs engagement tactics and formats (face to face, group settings, presentations, remote) including Scientific Events, Advisory Boards, Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS), Patient Support and Disease Management Programs (PSDMP), Observational Studies (OS) and Interventional Studies.
• Reviews and signs off all study protocols, study reports and relevant publications. The customer facing in field time could be indicatively >50% or >150 (or different as agreed with R-manager and CET) meaningful scientific exchange interactions per year (include F2F, remote interactions and phone calls or emails exchanges). Is responsible for TLs' selection, tiering, sentiment, engagement plans, insights collection and TL tool .in alignment with CMD and CETs Follows the KPIs agreed with CMD and/or CETs.
• Is responsible for the dissemination and education of scientific data with external TLs (abstracts, literature etc.). Distils clear content from the wealth of scientific data. Studies competition intelligence (studies/ literature of competition, attend symposia of competition, material of competition etc.). Handles medical inquiries if necessary.
• Contributes to the scientific content of the promotional materials in alignment with code of ethics, QSDs, global and local legislation.
• Reviews and approves the promotional material via Content Factory (transcreation: translation & adaptation in line with EOF code).
• Reviews and approves press releases and any kind of scientific publications and scientific related external communication material (compliance to SOPs and in line with local and international regulations and laws). Also, reviews and approves labelling scientific content translation (SPC & PIL).
• Designs and delivers all kinds of internal scientific training for all medical personnel.
• Coordinates or leads all kinds of medical scientific training to non-medical personnel (commercial, market access, regulatory etc.), as well as to external partners (vendors, distributors, co-promotion partners etc.) and is coordinating the certification process of the sales force.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the position of MSL/Medical Advisor will be expected to have the following:

• Medical degree from a reputable University (strong preference) or degree in Life Sciences from a reputable University is mandatory.
• Scientific clinical development knowledge & strong statistical skills.Comfortable with numbers and ability to extract insights from data.
• Academic / scientific writing experience either through educational background and / or job experience.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and partnership management skills. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication (verbally and in writing), negotiation and influencing skills with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong team player with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a large and complex organization.
• Strong analytical and organizing skills, attention to detail, customer focus, strategic mindset, integrity, courage, resilience, adaptability and passion to deliver great results, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong digital/IT skills and high ability to quickly adopt new technologies.
• Self-motivation, agile mindset, strategic and innovative thinking paired with high learning agility.
• Highly inclusive and emotionally intelligent.
• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal).
• Travelling required.

Experience

• At least 4 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be considered an asset.
• At least 2 years of scientific expertise in one of the relevant therapeutic areas will be considered an asset.
