. We support institutions across the full Model Risk Management lifecycle, advising on how to create value while meeting regulatory expectations.

#AboutYourRole

As a
Consultant
in our Risk Advisory department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in identifying, assessing, and managing risks that may impact their business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver value-added insights.

You will work collaboratively with the wider
Financial Risk Measurement
team and our clients. The role requires flexibility to tackle a wide range of tasks:

• Contribute to all aspects of
  credit and traded risk model
  development and deployment including design, coding, testing, validation and review. The most common types of credit risk models worked on by the team are operational scorecards, IRB capital models for
  Pillar 1 Credit Risk
  ,
  IFRS 9
  impairment models, forecasting models and stress testing models.
• Help deliver projects to evaluate, design and implement policies, procedures and strategies to effectively deploy and execute risk models and processes, consistent with regulatory requirements and/or market practice across credit risk model delivery.
• Perform reviews of
  risk model deployment
  and
  execution frameworks
  , including gathering business requirements, assessing conceptual designs, examining governance and controls, and testing outcomes.
• Help the team expand its range of services and solutions in the market place, considering operations, analytics and target operating model considerations for clients, plus how to deliver with third party providers.
• Keep up to date with academic, technical and industry developments in the field of credit and traded risk management, deployment and implementation.
• Applicants will need to be able to review large volumes of information quickly and efficiently in order to identify and disseminate the key points in a coherent manner.

Applicants should be also committed to building long-term professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders, working with our senior management team to develop industry contacts. Key Qualifications

• Academic background in a quantitative field such as Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, Financial
  Engineering
  ,
  Mathematics
  ,
  Physics, Risk Management
  , or
  Banking
  &
  Finance
  (Master's degree or professional qualification such as PRMIA, GARP, CFA is an advantage).
• Solid knowledge of
  stochastic calculus, financial mathematics, and risk modelling
  (e.g., derivatives pricing, market/credit risk, quantitative finance applications).Experience in
  Financial Maths
  (ex. Derivatives, pricing, risk modelling etc.)
• Strong technical and programming skills (e.g.,
  Python, R, SQL, SAS
  ), with excellent statistical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,
  Excel
  , PowerPoint).
• Interest and motivation in
  Banking & Finance
  with eagerness to learn
  financial regulations and accounting standards
  (e.g.,
  Basel II/III, IFRS 9, risk parameters, standardized vs. advanced approaches
  ).
• Proficient in
  English
  , with strong
  oral and written communication skills
  ; able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good
  presentation and interpersonal skills
  , confident in
  client interactions
  and capable of influencing stakeholders.
