The responsibilities of this role:
- Conduct on-site risk surveys of industrial facilities, factories, and commercial properties to identify potential hazards.
- Assess exposure to specific perils, with a strong focus on Fire Safety, Electrical Energy risks, and Natural Catastrophes (Flood, Earthquake).
- Draft detailed technical reports, hazard studies, and fire protection assessments, documenting findings and risk levels.
- Perform asset valuations to verify sums insured for property and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Underwriting team to support technical decision-making
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree (AEI/TEI) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining/Metallurgical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) sector, preferably within External Protection and Prevention Services (EXYPP) companies or proven experience in property valuation and real estate appraisals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Good command of the English language
