ManpowerGroup, on behalf of our client, a multinational specialist in gas and diesel engine-based power plants for energy efficient and renewable power generation, is looking for an Accountant.
Location: Kallithea, Greece
You will be reporting to: Finance Manager
What you will do:
- Entry of purchase invoices for inventory
- Accounting of transactions in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (GAS)
- Issuance of sales invoices for goods
- Excellent knowledge of Greek tax legislation and continuous updating on changes and developments
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, payroll tax, income tax, E3, Intrastat, VIES, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of procedures and forms of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the General Commercial Registry (GEMI)
- Annual year-end closing
- Collaboration with auditors for the company's audit
- Support of the team regarding customer balances
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Accounting or Economics.
- Up to 4 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of the Entersoft ERP system and MS Office.
- Good knowledge of the English language.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
