ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, a leading IT company which contributes to the digital transformation of a wide range of business processes, expanding from supply chain and all the way to customer service, is actively seeking a prominent Accountant to join their team.
The chosen candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Participates budget forecasts.
- Prepare financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant Accountant position.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and fiscal compliance practices.
- Proficiency in working within ERP environments and strong Excel skills.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Greek.
- People management, communication and team spirit skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
