Job Overview:
As a Content Moderator, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and moderate online content to ensure that it complies with community guidelines and maintains a positive user experience. You will be working within a team of professionals focused on providing the best service to our clients. The role requires fluency in German and proficiency in English (B2 level), along with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive content with discretion.

This is an on-site position based in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, Greece, where you will have the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment while enjoying the vibrant lifestyle that the city offers. A relocation package is available for candidates moving from abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with community standards and guidelines.
• Identify and report inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content in a timely manner, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to users, guiding them toward community standards compliance.
• Collaborate with a team of moderators, sharing insights and best practices for effective content moderation.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to address specific content issues or escalate cases when necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, guidelines, and tools related to content moderation.
• Assist in improving processes and suggesting improvements to streamline moderation workflows.

Requirements:

• Fluency in German (written and spoken) – this is a must.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level) – strong communication skills are essential for collaboration.
• Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or similar roles is a plus but not mandatory.
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to spot inappropriate content in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of content across different platforms.
• Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with sensitive or difficult content.
• A positive and proactive approach with a strong desire to contribute to the success of the team.
