About the position

ERMA FIRST ESK Engineering Solutions S.A is seeking to hire a Group Technical Buyer to join our growing team:

Main responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select technical materials, equipment, and services to meet business and project needs.

  • Manage reliable suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant procurement.

  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, production, and QA to align purchasing with specifications, timelines, and operational requirements.

  • Optimize costs through supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, and lead-time management.

  • Monitor supplier risks, ensure business continuity, and implement contingency plans.

  • Support ISO, environmental, and regulatory compliance.

  • Review and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) as needed

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering.

  • Proven experience in a technical purchasing or procurement engineering role

  • Prior work experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is strongly required

  • Solid understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for business and technical communication

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex procurement workflows

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
