ΙΤ Junior Service Desk Engineer

The role will:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of basic IT issues and service requests.
  • Communicate effectively with end users to understand their needs and provide appropriate support.
  • Assist in the basic administration and maintenance of computers, applications, and IT equipment.
  • Support the installation and initial configuration of software and hardware, following provided guidelines and documenting key steps.
  • Follow established procedures for common support tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
  • Help investigate recurring issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to root cause analysis and future prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree will be considered a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer issues and providing basic network support.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow) will be considered an asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical teams and end users.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured IT support environment.
