Your role: As an FTTx Project Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and monitoring the design of FTTx fiber optics network and the progress of projects. You will play an integral role in the implementation of fiber optics projects and ensure high-quality results in the designing of the required technical plans.

How you will contribute to our success:

  • Complete day to day network tasks according to the project timelines and required deliverables;
  • Identify, escalate, and find cost-effective solutions;
  • Produce low-level design civil and fiber drawings;
  • Prepare "As Built" Documentation and BOMs (Bill of Materials);
  • Review Design engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions;
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (plans) and report to the PM regularly on project status;
  • Prepare the blueprints to be submitted maintain a frequent contact with the respective authorities;
  • Design technical plans required by local authorities;
  • Collect necessary paperwork for the issuance of necessary permits and submit it to competent authorities;
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for FTTx design projects.

To be a fit you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or another related technical field;
  • 2 years of previous experience in telecommunication industry;
  • Excellent knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS;
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar design and visualization software;
  • Advanced MS Office skills;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Flexible to think quickly and resolve design issues with robust decision-making;
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Ideally you shall also have:

  • Previous working experience in FTTx projects;
  • German language (current level B2);
