Job description

At Gecko Power Solutions, we are dedicated to delivering innovative power and energy solutions. We are currently seeking a Project Execution Engineer to join our team. As a Project Execution Engineer, will play a key role in supporting our project portfolio, from the initial tender phase through execution and will coordinate between project teams, clients, and suppliers while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise project execution activities from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with the clients about deliverables and project status.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project execution, ideally within the power or energy sector.
  • Understanding of HV & MV Protection systems, substation automation components and automation principles.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • You have at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Experience in an engineering company related to energy sector will be considered as a plus.
