Group Head of Communications

This role blends high-level strategy with active, day-to-day execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across formats, from executive messaging and press materials to internal initiatives, digital platforms, and visual content. They will own the Group's brand voice and reputation across all communication channels and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, while navigating the diverse priorities of multiple business entities.

Education:

• University degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Strategic/ Corporate Communications would be considered an advantage.
• Digital marketing or media training.
• Native level Greek and fluency in English- written and spoken are considered essential.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Communication Leadership
• Develop and implement integrated communication strategies aligned with the Group's mission, values, and business objectives. Ensure consistent and tailored messaging across all entities with distinct operational focuses.
• Content Development & Messaging
• Draft and edit a wide range of content, including press releases, internal announcements, executive speeches, newsletters and LinkedIn posts, tailored to different audiences while maintaining a unified voice.
• Media Relations
• Act as the primary liaison for media and press. Build relationships with journalists, secure coverage, draft media materials, and coordinate leadership interviews to increase visibility across all entities.
• Internal Communications
• Design and implement internal communication initiatives across all entities, including messaging for town halls, internal newsletters, and business updates. Ensure alignment with HR and leadership to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected to the Group's priorities.
• Crisis Communication
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive crisis communication manual and response protocols. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership during high-risk or reputationally sensitive situations, ensuring timely, accurate, and aligned messaging across all internal and external channels.
• Digital Communications & Social Media
• Responsible for the Group's digital presence, including LinkedIn and corporate websites. Manage content development, visual design, scheduling, and performance monitoring across all entities, ensuring consistency, clarity, and audience engagement.
• Visual Content Creation
• Design branded assets and visual content to support campaigns, announcements, social media posts, and executive presentations. Uphold consistent visual identity across all materials.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Alignment
• Work closely with C-level executives and cross-functional teams across all five subsidiaries to ensure message clarity, alignment, and strategic communication flow.
• Reputation & Brand Management
• Uphold and evolve the Group's brand identity and public narrative. Ensure all communications reflect the Group's values, tone of voice, and long-term positioning while honoring the distinct character of each entity

Experience:

• Proven experience in senior communications or PR roles (minimum 7–10 years).
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in digital communications, social media, and content strategy.
• Experience managing crisis communications and media relations.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable, and diplomatic.
