Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) in the tourism department. The PCO will be responsible for managing events, which entails coordinating financial, secretarial, technical, travel, and other support services. The PCO will also ensure that all events are tailored to meet clients' individual needs. The role is located in Athens.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism or a related field is highly appreciated.
  • Previous experience in event management, particularly in the tourism sector, for a minimum of 2-3 years
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge of Panasoft's Travel Force system
  • Fluency in Greek and English (both speaking and writing) is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel for events.
