We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team and participate in all aspects of designing and developing new and innovative applications. This is a great opportunity for an engineer, who is excited about solving complex problems in the automation field and who enjoys building highly scalable and efficient automation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Bidding – Reviews tender documents, performs site surveys, prepare technical documentation and budget sheet

  • Project Execution – takes ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated tasks and ensures delivery of the highest quality standard, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule.

  • Project coordination – provides team members all necessary support and information to ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk for the allocated tasks

  • Scope control – fully understands the scope of work within delivery limits, ensures that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule

  • HSE/Quality control – ensures that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company's quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved – adheres to Company's and customer HSEQ standards all the time

  • Technical knowledge – acquires, maintains and actively shares knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization

Requirements
  • Electrical or Automation Engineering degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in industrial or marine sector with a proven track record managing system design, implementation, factory acceptance test and commissioning phases of projects
  • Knowledge in PLC Programming and Building Automation in TIA Portal
  • Planning at EPLAN
  • Experience in the construction of Automation/Control Panels will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge in Prime Power Plants, Backup Power Plants and Peak Shaving Installations Control & Protection Systems will be considered a plus

Qualifications:

  • Advanced PC skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Team-building and decision-making capabilities.
  • Availability to travel (In Greece and Abroad)
